England striker Daniel Sturridge has left training early with a suspected thigh injury ahead of Tuesday's friendly against Germany.

The 24-year-old was forced to miss last week's 2-0 defeat to Chile with the problem.

Sturridge could now sit out tomorrow night's encounter at Wembley Stadium with a recurrence of the strain.

The forward has scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for both Liverpool and England this season.
