Brent Hills to take temporary charge of England women's team

The FA announce that Brent Hills will take charge of the England women's team for two World Cup qualifiers.

The Football Association have announced that Brent Hills will take charge of the senior England women's team for two World Cup qualifiers.

The governing body are currently searching for a permanent replacement for Hope Powell, who was dismissed on Tuesday following a disappointing European Championship campaign.

Hills, who works as the England women's Under-23 coach, will lead the senior Lionesses for their World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Turkey next month.

Hills also acted as assistant coach to Powell.
