Fabio Capello confirms that he will make eight changes for tomorrow's friendly match against Sweden at Wembley.

England manager Fabio Capello has revealed that he will make eight changes for tomorrow's friendly match with Sweden.

Among those Capello confirmed that will keep their place in the side from Saturday's 1-0 win over Spain is midfielder Scott Parker and goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The coach also told the press that Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge would start the match on the bench, despite reports this morning that he could start the encounter.

Capello admitted that he had been impressed by Sturridge's form this season, while also taking the time to praise the other younger members of the squad.

"100% [Sturridge] will start on the bench," said Capello. "It's not only him, all the players who have come in from the under-21s I have monitored and spoken to [coach] Stuart Pearce about them.

"I am pleased with the confidence with which our younger players played against Spain."

England have not beaten Sweden since 1968.
