Eintracht Frankfurt recorded a 1-0 win away at Nuremberg this evening and in doing so ensured that they would be playing top-flight German football next term.
The two sides headed into the second leg of the Bundesliga relegation playoffs level at one goal apiece from the clash at the Commerzbank Arena three days ago.

That result handed Nuremberg an away-goals advantage on home soil, but that counted for little as Haris Seferovic scored the only goal of the game to condemn them to another campaign in 2. Bundesliga.
Seferovic's intervention came with 66 minutes on the clock, with Mijat Gacinovic playing a key role.
The winger tricked his way to the left byline and then drilled in a cross, which Seferovic turned in at the near post to score his fourth goal of the season.
It was then down to the Frankfurt defence, who shut out the remainder of the game to secure a crucial 2-1 aggregate victory.
