Team News: Millwall caretaker managers make five changes

Doncaster Rovers name teenage striker Alex Peterson up front for the Championship visit of Millwall after Chris Brown and Billy Paynter fail late fitness tests.

Millwall caretaker managers Scott Fitzgerald and Neil Harris have made five changes for their trip to the Keepmoat Stadium to face Doncaster Rovers this afternoon.

The pair have been put in temporary charge following the sacking of Steve Lomas, and have given recalls to Richard Chaplow and Nicky Bailey in central midfield.

There are changes in defence too, where Danny Shittu misses out through suspension and Alan Dunne and Scott Malone return, while Scott McDonald is chosen to partner Steve Morison in attack. Guy Moussi, Justin Hoyte and Jermaine Easter are all dropped, while Liam Trotter misses out through injury.

Doncaster are without Billy Paynter, Chris Brown and James Coppinger after all three failed late fitness tests.

With Paynter and Brown struggling with Achilles and ankle problems respectively, teenage striker Alex Peterson makes his first Championship start for Paul Dickov's side.

Forward trio Federico Macheda, Harry Forrester and Theo Robinson are all rested after playing in the Boxing Day defeat to Ipswich Town, while Yun Suk-Young also drops to the bench.

There are recalls for Aston Villa loanee Enda Stevens at full-back, and midfielders David Cotterill and Martin Woods as Dickov reverts to a 4-5-1 formation.

Doncaster: Turnbull; Stevens, McCullough, Wakefield, Quinn; Duffy, Wellens, Woods, Furman; Cotterill, Peterson
Subs: Maxted, Macheda, De Val, Robinson, Bennett, Forrester, Yup

Millwall: Forde; Dunne, Lowry, Beevers, Malone; Chaplow, Bailey, Abdou, Woolford; McDonald, Morison
Subs: Bywater, Hoyte, Smith, Wright, Martin, Onyedinma, Easter
