Igor Stimac has been made the new manager of Croatia and will take over at the end of Euro 2012.
Slaven Bilic, the current boss, will be in charge for the tournament in the summer but has already agreed to become the new chief at Lokomotiv Moscow at the start of next season.
"I'm really happy that [former president] Vlatko Markovic has opened new opportunities in Croatian football when he decided to leave his presidential role," Stimac told Slobodna Dalmacija.
"I'm also happy to be here, that I will be next national team coach.
"I'm looking forward to working with Davor Suker. But let's be quiet about the plans, now we all have to support our team, who have just started preparations for Euro 2012."
Suker has been made the Croatian FA's new president.
