Former Newcastle United striker Xisco is attracting interest from England, according to his agent.

The agent of former Newcastle United striker Xisco has claimed that a number of English clubs are interested in signing his client.

The Spaniard scored eight goals for Cordoba last season, but he is now available on a free transfer after leaving the Spanish outfit.

"I have secured the mandate for Xisco and we are looking at a possible return to England," Jonathan Hope told Sky Sports News.

"Xisco had a spell at Newcastle and at that time he was a little unsettled. He has since married and had a tremendous end to the season.

"I am talking to several clubs about him and I am expecting lots of interest in him."

The 26-year-old left Newcastle earlier this year.
