Barcelona lead Cordoba 3-0 following the first half of their Copa del Rey last-16 second-leg encounter at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona hold a 3-0 lead over Cordoba at the break in tonight's Copa del Rey last-16 second-leg encounter at the Camp Nou.

Tito Vilanova's side are now 5-0 ahead on aggregate against the Segunda Division club.

Thiago Alcantara gave Barca the lead on 17 minutes when he found the bottom corner before David Villa doubled their advantage moments later with a superb individual effort.

The striker skipped past one challenge out wide which allowed him to dink the ball over Mikel Saizar.

Villa then added another midway through the half thanks to his powerful finish from close range.

Thiago was inches away from netting again on 35 minutes, but his shot came back off the crossbar.
