Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez confirms that Brazilian striker Lucas Piazon will join Malaga on loan.

Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Brazilian striker Lucas Piazon will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Spanish outfit Malaga.

The 18-year-old, who missed a penalty on his Premier League debut against Aston Villa in December, has made just three first-team appearances for the club since joining from Sao Paulo in January 2011.

"We have an agreement with Malaga for Lucas Piazon to go on loan there until the end of the season," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

Malaga, who currently sit fifth in La Liga, will face Porto in the knockout stages of the Champions League next month.
