Liverpool are reportedly the latest team to enter the race for Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi.
Regarded as one of the fastest players in German football, Adeyemi has always been a useful option for Dortmund since his transfer two years ago.
A total of 14 goals and eight assists have come from 66 appearances in all competitions, a respectable return after previously starring for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.
However, the 22-year-old was far less effective during the most recent campaign, chipping in with just five strikes and two assists from his 34 outings.
There is now a new head coach over Dortmund with Nuri Sahin replacing Edin Terzic in the dugout, something which could lead to an upturn in fortunes for Adeyemi.
Nevertheless, it appears that he will have several opportunities on the table providing that any admirers are prepared to meet his asking price.

Liverpool to move in Adeyemi race?
According to Sky Sport Deutschland, Liverpool are ready to rival a number of teams in the race for the Germany Under-21 international's signature.
Dortmund are said to be open to cashing in on Adeyemi for a fee in the region of €30m (£25.3m), a figure which will be viewed as reasonable by any interested parties.
Liverpool are yet to make any additions since the arrival of Arne Slot, partly due to the futures of Trent Alexander Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah needing to be resolved as a priority.
The Merseyside giants are also well stocked for players who can be deployed on the flanks, albeit that being something that could change if Salah were to leave Anfield.
Chelsea have already been heavily linked with a move for Adeyemi, the report adding that Juventus and AC Milan are also monitoring the situation.

What is the most likely outcome?
With Adeyemi still having three years left on his contract, Dortmund do not have to be in any rush to sell, particularly when fellow attacker Donyell Malen has also been linked with an exit from the Westfalenstadion.
That said, the Bundesliga giants may be open to recouping the fee that they spent on the versatile frontman two years ago with Sahin eager to make his own signings.
All four of the aforementioned interested clubs will likely see the value for money in signing Adeyemi. Even at the age of 22, Adeyemi has surpassed 100 contributions through goals and assists for FC Liefering, Salzburg and Dortmund.
This is a scenario that could drag on as the window progresses, the teams in question potentially assessing the market before making a final decision.
