Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is reportedly open to parting ways with as many as eight first-team players during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is reportedly considering eight player sales during the summer transfer window.

While the Blues sit in fourth position in the Premier League standings, Lampard watched his side succumb to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Englishman did not shy away from criticising his players after the full-time whistle, and it appears that the club legend is ready to make sweeping changes to his first-team squad.

According to The Sun, eight players may be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge, including out-of-form goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

As well as Willian and Pedro leaving on free transfers, the report claims that Kurt Zouma, Jorginho and Ross Barkley could also be sold by the West Londoners.

At least one of left-back pair Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are also expected to be sold by Chelsea.
