Fulham are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Blues boss Frank Lampard recently confirmed that Loftus-Cheek could leave on loan before tonight's 11pm deadline, with first-team opportunities set to be limited for him at Stamford Bridge this season.
Fulham are keen to bolster their ranks after beginning life back in the Premier League with four successive defeats.
At least one new centre-back is understood to be the priority for the Cottagers, but the Daily Mail reports that they are also in talks with their West London neighbours Fulham over a deal for Loftus-Cheek.
West Ham United are also thought to be interested in the 24-year-old, although his salary could prove to be a stumbling block in negotiations.
Chelsea reportedly want any interested parties to pay his full £150,000-a-week wage packet if they take him on loan.
