Chelsea are reportedly ready to make every effort to secure the signing of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Blues were ready to prioritise an approach for Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez, who would likely cost less than the England international.
However, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea want to raise £65m to help their bid to sign Rice.
The report suggests that Frank Lampard is happy to generate the majority of the funds required through the sale of Jorginho.
Although the Italy international still has three years left on his contract, speculation persists regarding a potential exit from Stamford Bridge.
Nevertheless, the Hammers are said to value Rice closer to the £80m mark, demands which Chelsea may not be prepared to meet in the current climate.
