Chelsea demanding £31m for Tiemoue Bakayoko?

Chelsea are reportedly hoping to part ways with Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer, but the Blues will not accept less than £35m for the French midfielder.

Chelsea are reportedly willing to part ways with Tiemoue Bakayoko for £31m during the summer transfer window.

The midfielder has struggled to adapt to the Premier League since his £40m move from Monaco in 2017 and spent the 2019-20 season on loan with the Ligue 1 outfit.

Bakayoko amassed one goal and two assists from 20 league appearances before the French football season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the Frenchman is supposedly not a part of Frank Lampard's future plans at Stamford Bridge.

According to Le 10 Sport, the Blues are open to selling Bakayoko but will demand at least £31m for the out-of-favour midfielder.

The report claims that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on developments, but the Ligue 1 champions are hesitant to pay more than £26.5m for the 25-year-old.

Bakayoko made 43 appearances for Chelsea during the 2017-18 season before being shipped out to AC Milan on loan, and the France international is supposedly keen on a return to San Siro.
