Chelsea bid £1m for highly-rated Bristol City prospect?

Chelsea reportedly launch a £1m bid for 18-year-old Bristol City winger Antoine Semenyo.

Chelsea have reportedly launched an opening bid for highly-rated Bristol City teenager Antoine Semenyo.

The 19-year-old is currently on loan at Newport County, where he has netted six goals in 31 appearances.

The Premier League side may lose their 18-year-old forward Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich, who are reportedly preparing to launch a £40m bid.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea have bid £1m for Semenyo, who would be placed into the Under-23 squad in West London.

Semenyo has made just one appearance for his parent club Bristol City, which came in the final league match of last season in a 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United.
