What the papers say

Gonzalo Higuain's reunion with Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea remains uncertain, the Daily Mirror reports. The Argentina striker is currently on loan at AC Milan from Juventus, but the Stamford Bridge club are looking at bringing in the 31-year-old to bolster their attacking options.

Arsenal could be interested in signing Colombia playmaker James Rodriguez on a loan deal, the Independent reports. The 27-year-old is currently at Bayern Munich on loan from Real Madrid.

Marko Arnautovic will not be allowed to leave in January even if he refuses to play, the Evening Standard says. The Austrian could be on his way out of the Hammers in the summer the paper adds.
