Barcelona have reportedly identified Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen as options to improve their defence for the 2022-23 campaign.
Al three players are out of contract at Stamford Bridge this summer, and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Barcelona are competing with Bayern Munich for Christensen's signature.
However, according to Sport, the Catalan giants are also monitoring Azpilicueta and Rudiger with a view to signing one of the defenders on a free transfer this summer.
The report claims that Azpilicueta's departure from Chelsea is 'on track', with the Blues not prepared to offer him a new two-year deal plus the option of an additional 12 months.
Meanwhile, it is alleged that Christensen wants 'a change of scenery' this summer, and the Denmark international is preparing to leave Thomas Tuchel's side despite being an important player this season.
Barcelona could be in the market for a replacement for Ronald Araujo ahead of next season, with Real Madrid said to be lining up a move for the Uruguay international.
