John Terry is named as a substitute for Chelsea's clash with West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

John Terry has once again been named on the Chelsea bench in the Premier League as the European champions prepare to entertain West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

The central defender, who is rumoured to have been involved in a training ground bust-up with interim manager Rafael Benitez earlier this week, must settle for a place on the substitutes' bench.

Demba Ba is preferred to Fernando Torres in attack but Frank Lampard does return to the starting lineup to captain the side.

Romelu Lukaku is ineligible to face his parent club and is replaced by Marc Antoine-Fortune, while Peter Odemwingie remains on the bench for the Baggies.

Chelsea: Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Cole, Ramires, Lampard, Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Ba

West Brom: Foster, Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Mulumbu, Fortune, Morrison, Dorrans, Long
