Marco Reus wants Michy Batshuayi to stay at Borussia Dortmund

Forward Marco Reus wants teammate Michy Batshuayi to complete a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Borussia Dortmund.

Marco Reus has admitted that he is keen to see Michy Batshuayi sign a permanent deal at Borussia Dortmund.

During the January transfer window, Chelsea allowed Batshuayi to move to Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season and the Belgian forward has already made a big impact at the Westfalenstadion.

Batshuayi has netted seven goals from nine appearances in all competitions, and Reus has acknowledged that he has been left impressed by his new teammate.

The 28-year-old told Bild: "I would be very happy if Michy stays. He showed how important he can be for us. I hope we finish the season in a Champions League place."

Batshuayi still has over three years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
