West Brom boss Tony Pulis takes a dig at "sexy" Jurgen Klopp and foreign managers

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis takes a dig at Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, as well as Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte.

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has taken a dig at Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and other foreign coaches coming into the Premier League.

Klopp, as well as Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Chelsea's Antonio Conte, has received plenty of plaudits for making an impact on the English top flight.

Pulis has suggested, though, that the hype is over the top given that coaches like himself and Burnley boss Sean Dyche, who previously made a similar point on the subject, would not receive the same praise.

"That's the way it is, they come into the country, they're sexy, they're new, they're bright," the Liverpool Echo quotes Pulis as saying. "That's fine, brilliant, not a problem for me.

The West Brom boss sarcastically added: "I'll listen to them, they say Klopp trains them three times a day in pre-season, absolutely amazing. I'd never have thought of that. That's what Sean's on about, they do stuff that is astonishing that we've never heard of."

Pulis and Dyche will be in opposing dugouts this evening when West Brom and Burnley go head to head at The Hawthorns.
