The Football Association are reportedly seeking out Ashley Cole to get his side of the story regarding the racism row surrounding Chelsea captain John Terry and Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.
The governing body have chosen the former Arsenal defender to act as a witness to the incident as he was the closest player to the England captain when the alleged remarks were made.
The 30-year-old is expected to come to the Blues captain's defence over the accused claims, according to the Daily Star.
Reports have suggested that three QPR players will speak out in support of Ferdinand during the investigation.
