Chelsea defender David Luiz has said that he is happy with the club's fixture congestion as it means that he spends less time at training.
The Brazilian admitted that he finds the sessions "boring" and a run of six games in 16 days means that he will spend less time at the Blues' Cobham training complex.
"I like to play games. I don't like to train, it's boring sometimes," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.
"Personally for me [the fixture pile-up] is amazing. I love to play games, so if I had to play every day I would want to. You need to rest sometimes but I prefer to play games than training, for sure.
"I want to play. I want to be on the pitch. Sometimes I am tired, but when I'm on the bench I'm not tired. I love to play football."
The former Benfica man was signed for around £25m in January 2011.
