Chelsea have reportedly agreed to pay Napoli €5m (£4.4m) to release head coach Maurizio Sarri ahead of his appointment to the Stamford Bridge dugout.
The Italian is still under contract at Stadio San Paolo despite the Serie A outfit having appointed Carlo Ancelotti last month.
Speculation over Antonio Conte's future at Stamford Bridge, meanwhile, has been rife throughout the season following reports that he has fallen out with the board.
According to Football Italia, talks are currently underway between Chelsea chief executive Marina Granovskaia and Partenopei director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli.
The report also claims that Sarri has agreed personal terms with the West Londoners, namely a contract until June 2020 with the option of a third season.
Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola is believed to have been earmarked to work alongside Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
