Chelsea have reportedly made a last-ditch attempt to keep head coach Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Despite winning the Europa League with the Blues, Sarri appears to be on his way to Juventus in order to replace Massimiliano Allegri.
The switch is expected to be confirmed later this week as both clubs look to continue with their plans for the new season, although Chelsea are said to be remain torn over whether to allow Sarri to move on after just 11 months in charge.
According to The Sun, Chelsea are looking to convince Sarri into a late change of heart after his successful opening campaign in West London.
The report suggests that a number of officials behind the scenes would like to see the 60-year-old continue in his current role, rather than take over the Serie A champions.
Chelsea are allegedly refusing to sack Sarri, which would leave the Italian entitled to £5m in compensation.
