Aguero wants Tevez partnership
Sergio Aguero wants to form a strike partnership with Carlos Tevez, who he believes can steer Manchester City towards Premier League glory.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has welcomed the return of Carlos Tevez and is excited by the prospect of playing alongside his countryman.

Tevez marked his comeback from a self-imposed five-month exile in City's 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Wednesday by coming off the bench to provide Samir Nasri with the winning goal.

Aguero believes that his Argentina teammate can have a great impact on City's title challenge and is hopeful of partnering him at club level.

"He will bring a lot to the party for what remains of the season," Aguero told The Sun.

"Through what happened and the situation that came about I've not had much chance to play with Carlos but what we have done between the three of us myself, Mario [Balotelli] and Edin [Dzeko]- is to give a good account of ourselves in terms of goalscoring.

"We have done fairly well but I think it would be nice to have Carlos on board to add goals to the threesome, but it's down to the manager and hopefully he continues to pick me."

Both forwards have scored 13 international goals for Argentina, with Aguero's tally coming in 33 games and Tevez's in 59 appearances.
