Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that he is yet to decide whether Ross Barkley will make a return to the bench for Sunday's Premier League clash at Manchester City.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed that Ross Barkley is in contention to make a return to his squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

At the start of 2018, Barkley left Everton to move to Stamford Bridge but the playmaker has featured for just 131 minutes in all competitions, with his last outing coming on January 31.

However, Conte has said that the England international could make an appearance on the bench for the club's fixture with the league leaders at the Etihad Stadium.

At a press conference, the 48-year-old told reporters: "Ross Barkley, this week, trained with us. Now he's recovered from his injury.

"He will come with us for Manchester City. I don't know if I decide for him to find a place on the bench or in the stand."

Conte has also revealed that David Luiz, Ethan Ampadu and Tiemoue Bakayoko will all not be involved in Sunday's contest.
