Half-Time Report: Chelsea, Fulham level at the break

Chelsea and Fulham go into the half-time break of their Premier League clash level at 0-0.

Chelsea and Fulham are drawing 0-0 in the West London derby at Stamford Bridge.

After an even opening couple of minutes, it was Fulham who threatened first. Steve Sidwell rose highest in the box to meet a Damien Duff cross, but his header went over the bar.

Martin Jol's team had the better of the play early on as Darren Bent caused the Chelsea defence problems.

The striker forced Petr Cech to rush off his line and collect the ball after a long pass from Duff, before seeing his low effort palmed away by the Blues keeper.

Chelsea began to push forward and had a half-chance when John Terry headed over from a corner.

The Cottagers were comfortable on the ball and resolute in defence, while Chelsea were content to sit back but struggled to find their creative rhythm.

Despite having most of the possession, the Blues were slack with their passing, giving the ball away cheaply.

Oscar placed a 25-yard free kick into the hands of David Stockdale and Eden Hazard tried the spectacular but volleyed tamely wide from 30 yards. The Belgian had another effort just after, but again dragged it wide.

After a scramble in the box, Branislav Ivanovic struck but Stockdale was able to push the ball out.
