Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that Alvaro Morata is continuing to improve his fitness ahead of the club's upcoming games with Hull City and Barcelona.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has suggested that Alvaro Morata is currently on course to start in the Champions League clash with Barcelona next week.

Morata spent almost a month on the sidelines with a back problem before making his return to the squad in Monday night's 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.

Conte has revealed that Morata will continue his comeback in the FA Cup meeting with Hull City on Friday night after playing a full part in training since the start of the week.

At a press conference, the 48-year-old told reporters: "Alvaro has been training with us regularly, every day.

"His physical condition is improving. Tomorrow, he will play a part of the game. He will be ready for the game against Barcelona in the Champions League."

Morata has scored 12 goals in 23 starts and eight substitute appearances in all competitions this season.
