How Chelsea could line up for Champions League clash with Sevilla

Ahead of Chelsea's trip to Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday, Sports Mole looks at how the Blues could line up.

Chelsea will be looking to pick up a rare win against Spanish opposition in the Champions League when they travel to Sevilla on Wednesday evening.

The Blues have won only one of their last 10 matches against La Liga sides in UEFA's flagship competition and are winless in six.

However, Frank Lampard's side head to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in high spirits, having already booked a place in the last 16.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up for their trip to Sevilla, who have also secured a top-two finish in Group E with two games to spare.

Doubtful: Ben Chilwell (ankle)

Lampard is likely to have a fully-fit squad to choose from following Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz's returns to fitness.

Left-back Ben Chilwell is the only slight concern after rolling his ankle in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, though he was able to see out the rest of the game.

Qualification for the knockout rounds may be in the bag, but Lampard will want to finish above Sevilla in top spot and he is expected to name his strongest available XI.

That could mean Pulisic and Havertz returning to the lineup after being brought off the bench against Tottenham, possibly at the expense of Mateo Kovacic and Tammy Abraham.

Werner, who has been involved in nine goals in nine Champions League away games, is an option to play through the middle or out wide.

Olivier Giroud is another pushing for inclusion up top after scoring a late winner in Chelsea's 2-1 win over Rennes last time out in the competition.
