Roberto Di Matteo knows of Bayern Munich weakness

Roberto Di Matteo travels to Germany to scout Chelsea's Champions League final opponents Bayern Munich, but he admits that he has already identified the side's weakness.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has claimed that fellow Champions League finalists Bayern Munich have a specific weakness that his side will attempt to exploit.

The pair meet in the European showpiece event on May 19 and the Italian has travelled to Germany to watch Bayern face Borussia Dortmund later today.

"I'm going to watch them on Saturday night in the German Cup final," said Di Matteo. "I'll analyse their pattern of play. I've seen the two semi-finals and the group stages as well.

"The strengths, which you'll know, are with [Mario] Gomez, [Frank] Ribery and [Arjen] Robben, and probably [Thomas] Muller. They have a very technical team with lots of pace. Very dangerous.

"But they also have weaknesses, like every team. I'm not going to say that. I know their weaknesses, but we'll work on that."

The Blues will be without suspended quartet John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires for the final.
