Charlton Athletic manager Guy Luzon has stressed that he is hopeful of keeping hold of striker Igor Vetokele.
Reports have emerged in recent days suggesting that Championship rivals Bolton Wanderers and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both been tracking the 23-year-old.
Vetokele's future has looked increasingly uncertain this term, having made just one start on the back of last season's 11-goal haul at The Valley.
While Luzon would not completely rule out a short-term loan move, he claimed that the Angola international could still play an important part for the club.
"I have heard about the interest," he told the South London Press. "I don't know what has happened. I hope he will stay because we don't have a big squad but we will see."
Vetokele joined Athletic from Danish side Copenhagen in June 2014.
