Charlton Athletic confirm Naby Sarr signing

Charlton Athletic make Sporting Lisbon defender Naby Sarr their seventh signing of the summer.

Charlton Athletic have confirmed the signing of defender Naby Sarr from Sporting Lisbon.

The Frenchman, 21, has penned a five-year contract with the Championship club.

Sarr has won two caps for his country at Under-21 level.

"We needed another defender and Naby is the perfect fit," manager Guy Luzon told the club's official website. "He is a player the club has been watching for a while and we nearly got him in January, but now we have done everything we can to get him this summer."

Charlton have now signed seven new players ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
