A report claims that Nottingham Forest are close to re-signing Kelvin Wilson from Celtic.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to bringing Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson back to the Championship outfit.

The 27-year-old, who left Forest for Scotland two years ago, is believed to be keen on a return to England due to family reasons.

It has been reported that Forest have had an offer of £1.5m rejected for the centre-back, but according to the Nottingham Post, a second bid will be lodged in the next 48 hours.

A number of Championship clubs are also believed to be monitoring proceedings.
