Celtic striker Moussa Dembele open to Premier League switch

Celtic striker Moussa Dembele admits that his plan of remaining in Glasgow "can change", amid rumoured interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

Moussa Dembele has insisted that he is currently '100% focused' on life at Celtic, but has refused to confirm whether he will still be at the club after the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old was one of the most in-demand strikers around during the summer, seeing his name linked with an array of clubs across the continent.

After netting 32 times for the Bhoys last season, though, the goals have dried up slightly this time around due to niggling injury problems.

Brighton & Hove Albion are the most recent English top-flight club to have reportedly shown an interest in the Frenchman, with Chris Hughton prepared to hand over £20m next month, and Dembele confesses that it is difficult to predict where his future lies.

"I can say it is part of the plan [to leave next month] but the plan can change," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying. "As long as I am here I will give 100% but I don't know until when. For me, every day I will be coming into training at Celtic.

"I don't look at the media or what people are saying about me. I just focus on myself. All the talk is not difficult for me. That was the case when I was in France too so I have been used to it. I just get my head down and work.

"I have my agent and my family who take care of that and I focus on my football. You have to focus on what you are good at - and what I am good at is playing football and scoring goals."

In 17 appearances for Scottish Premiership champions Celtic so far in 2017-18, Dembele has registered eight goals.
