Celtic smash 10-man Dundee

Celtic extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League to 21 points with an emphatic win over 10-man Dundee at Parkhead.

Celtic have extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League table to 21 points with an emphatic win over 10-man Dundee at Parkhead.

Captain Joe Ledley netted a brace, while James Forrest, Dylan McGeouch and Gary Hooper added to the champions' impressive 5-0 victory.

Ledley fired the Hoops ahead on 13 minutes with low drive from seven yards.

Forrest then doubled the hosts' lead from the penalty spot five minutes into the second half, after Matthew Lockwood had been shown a straight red card for a professional foul on Hooper.

McGeouch headed home from an Anthony Stokes cross to make it 3-0 just before the hour mark.

Stokes was the provider again on 73 minutes, as he squared to Ledley, who found the upper right corner from 12 yards.

Hooper completed the scoring seven minutes from time, as he finished smartly from close range following a neat pass by Ledley.
