Cardiff City will reportedly seal the appointment of Russell Slade as their new manager at some point this weekend.
The 53-year-old has been heavily linked to the position since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to leave the Championship club after a four-game winless run last month.
Slade, who resigned from his post as Leyton Orient boss on September 24, is wanted by Cardiff owner Vincent Tan, but a move was delayed due to a dispute between the Welsh club and Orient.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the issues have been resolved and Slade will be appointed as the Bluebirds' new manager this weekend.
Earlier today, reports emerged claiming that Slade was travelling with the Cardiff team for tonight's clash against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
