Nicky Maynard has refused to be affected by speculation linking him with a move away from Bristol City.
The 24-year-old centre forward has reportedly been the subject of three bids from Leicester City, while a number of Premier League clubs are also monitoring the situation.
Maynard has one year remaining on his City contract and has insisted that the talk surrounding his future will not have a detrimental affect on his performances.
"The chairman pulled me aside just the other day and wanted to know where my mind was at," said Maynard.
"I told him I was not going let it affect me and that I was going to play my best and not just fob off.
"I've spoken to the manager and chairman about it and told them 'if it gets sorted, then it gets sorted. If not, then I'm not the type of person who is going to let it affect the way I play.'"
Maynard joined City in 2008 from Crewe Alexandra.
