Brighton & Hove Albion have announced the signing of Fulham goalkeeper David Button on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old made 60 league appearances for the newly-promoted Premier League side over the past two seasons, eventually losing his place to Marcus Bettinelli.
Button, who began his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur, will compete with Mathew Ryan and fellow newcomer Jason Steele for time between the sticks for the Seagulls.
"We're delighted to bring a goalkeeper of David's experience to the club," Brighton manager Chris Hughton told the official club website.
"With Christian Walton and Robert Sanchez going out on loan this season, we felt we needed someone to provide further competition for places in that area of the team.
"He has a wealth of experience, having made over 300 appearances during his career so far, and I'm sure he will work well with Mat Ryan and Jason Steele."
Button is Brighton's fifth first-team signing of the summer transfer window.
