Manager Chris Hughton says that Brighton & Hove Albion must end their six-game winless streak against either Burnley or Watford.

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has admitted that the club's next two fixtures against Burnley and Watford are "very big games".

After a strong start to their first year in the Premier League, Brighton have gone six matches without picking up a win in the top flight, leaving the club just three points above the relegation zone.

Hughton has acknowledged that his side cannot afford to maintain their current run, and says that a positive result is required from at least one of their double-header at the Amex Stadium.

The 59-year-old told reporters: "We are one of a number of teams who are not in good form at the moment.

"We are conscious we need to pick up points and score goals and our next two games are two very big games for us."

Brighton have recorded just two points from their last six fixtures, while their latest defeat came at Wembley Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
