Result: Blackpool 5-0 Bristol City

Blackpool ease past Bristol City and send the Robins to the bottom of the Championship.

Blackpool eased past Bristol City at Bloomfield Road this afternoon, putting five past the Robins.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher opened the scoring for the home side in the 37th minute before new loan signing Jonjo Shelvey fired in a long-range free kick 20 minutes into the second half.

A further three goals came in the final ten minutes, with Daniel Bogdanovic scoring either side of a Brett Ormerod effort.

Bogdanovic made it three by tapping in from an Ormerod cross, before Ormerod himself got on the scoresheet minutes ahead of Bogdanovic's second.

The Seasiders jump three places to seventh and will face Doncaster after next weekend's international break while Bristol, who fall to the bottom of the league, travel to Palace on Tuesday, October 18.
