David Moyes expecting "tough" Blackburn test

Everton manager David Moyes says that his side are expecting a tough game at Ewood Park against Blackburn this weekend.

Everton boss David Moyes has said that he is expecting a difficult game against Blackburn at Ewood Park this weekend.

Steve Kean's side have yet to get off the mark this season, suffering defeats to both Wolves and Aston Villa. However, the Scot insisted that it will be a tough test after seeing the Lancashire club's 3-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

"It is a tough game going to Blackburn," he told the club's official website. "They are a team who have always had a good record at home at Ewood.

"I know they lost their first game there but usually they are strong and it is going to be a difficult game for us. They need the points as much as we do."

The former Preston boss will be expecting his side to rebound following their home loss to QPR last weekend.
