Birmingham City lead Peterborough United at half time though a goal scored by Peter Lovenkrands.

Birmingham City have the lead after 45 minutes at home to Peterborough United as they look for their first league win of the season.

United threatened in the early stages and nearly took the lead through Michael Bostwick, who struck from 25 yards to beat Jack Butland, only to see his shot cannon off the bar.

The Blues took the lead on the half-hour mark through Peter Lovenkrands, who took advantage of some slack defending to head home from Wade Elliot's cross.

Lee Clark's men survived a scare from Tyrone Barnett to take a one-goal advantage into the break.
