Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has backed the club's decision to appoint Pep Guardiola in his place at the end of the season.
The former Barcelona boss will replace the 67-year-old when he retires in the summer.
"I think it is good - handing the job from one who has seen everything to a younger coach who has already been pretty successful," Heynckes told reporters.
"My successor is a wise man. He analysed the top European clubs and realised Bayern Munich is the club he can be most successful at.
"I would not go to England as a coach and don't know what will happen in four months time or how the owner will react."
Bayern will host Greuther Furth in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
