Basel striker, Switzerland international Breel Embolo joins Schalke 04

Schalke complete the signing of Switzerland international Breel Embolo from Basel on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Basel striker Breel Embolo has completed a move to Bundesliga side Schalke 04 for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old, a Switzerland international, has agreed a five-year deal at the club until June 30, 2021.

Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel wrote on the club website: "In Breel Embolo, we have been able to bring in a highly talented attacker, who already has a lot of international experience and was also in demand at several other top European clubs."

Embolo, who has scored 21 goals in 60 games for Basel, featured at Euro 2016 for his country, playing a part in all four games they contested.
