Barcelona B midfielder Denis Suarez has joined Sevilla on a two-year loan as part of the deal that took Ivan Rakitic to the Camp Nou.
The 20-year-old, who moved to Barcelona last summer from Manchester City, will spend at least the next two campaigns with the Europa League winners.
A statement from Barcelona said: "It was officially announced on Monday that Denis Suarez will go on loan to Sevilla FC for the next two seasons as part of the same operation that sees Ivan Rakitic join FC Barcelona. 20 year old Suarez came to FCB last season from Manchester City. He has a contract until 2017, and was one of the outstanding members of the Barca B team that just equalled the club's best ever finish in the Second Division.
"Before coming to FC Barcelona, Denis Suarez was at Manchester City for two years after rising through the ranks of Celta Vigo. He has played for Spain at every youth level, right up to U21, and was in the squad that played at the U20 World Cup in Turkey last summer, where he featured alongside FCB's Gerard Deulofeu."
Sevilla reportedly have a purchase option in the region of £5m.
