Report: Barcelona want Almamy Toure

A report claims that Barcelona want to bring 19-year-old AS Monaco right-back Almamy Toure to the club.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in bringing AS Monaco defender Almamy Toure to Camp Nou in the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who came through the youth system at Monaco, has found the back of the net four times in 13 league appearances for his current club.

According to L'Equipe, Barcelona have been closely watching the teenager this season and were in attendance when the full-back scored twice against Marseille in Ligue 1 at the weekend.

The Spanish giants are believed to be in the market for a long-term replacement for Dani Alves and have identified Toure as the player to step into the Brazilian's shoes.

Toure only signed a new four-year contract with Monaco at the start of the summer.
