Report: Barcelona decide on Darijo Srna pursuit

A report claims that Barcelona will move for Shakhtar Donetsk defender Darijo Srna in the January transfer window.

Barcelona have reportedly decided to move for Shakhtar Donetsk defender Darijo Srna in the January transfer window.

A whole host of right-backs have been linked with a transfer to Camp Nou as Luis Enrique prepares to replace Sergi Roberto, who has struggled to justify his selection in recent weeks.

Barcelona were first linked with Srna earlier this month and according to Mundo Deportivo, the 34-year-old has now been identified as a priority signing in the winter transfer window.

Srna, who represented Croatia on 134 occasions between 2002 and 2016, has spent the last 13 years with Shakhtar, winning eight Ukrainian titles in the process.

The experienced international will be out of contract at the end of the current season.
