Barcelona sign Lucas Digne from Paris Saint-Germain

Barcelona announce the signing of French full-back Lucas Digne from PSG on a five-year contract in a deal worth up to £17.1m.

Barcelona have completed the signing of Lucas Digne from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year deal.

The Spanish champions have spent €16.5m (£13.8m) on the French full-back, with that figure potentially rising to €20.5m (£17.1m) depending on bonuses.

Digne's release clause at the club is €60m (£50m), and he will undergo a medical on Thursday before being officially unveiled later that day.

The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Lille before moving to PSG in 2013, although he failed to establish himself as a regular at the French champions, making just 43 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Digne spent last season on loan at Roma, playing against Barcelona in the Champions League group stages and scoring three goals in 39 appearances overall for the Serie A side.
