Barcelona could reportedly attempt to sell Antoine Griezmann in this summer's transfer window in order to secure the funds required to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Spanish champions have allegedly identified Martinez - also linked with Manchester City and Manchester United - as their number one target ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Inter, though, will reportedly refuse to sell the Argentina international for less than his €104m (£96m) release clause.
According to Sport, Griezmann could be included as a makeweight in a bid for Martinez or the France international could be sold elsewhere in order to raise funds.
The France international - thought to be valued in the region of €100m (£92m) - joined Barca from Atletico Madrid in last summer's transfer window and has scored 14 times in 37 appearances for the Catalan giants this season.
The 29-year-old's contract with Quique Setien's side runs until the summer of 2024.
