Barcelona are confident of beating Manchester City and Manchester United to Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly becoming increasingly confident that they will win the race for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 16 occasions in 31 appearances in all competitions.

Barca are believed to have identified the Argentina international as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the South American, but according to The Mirror, the Spanish champions believe that they will win the race for his signature this summer.

Martinez, who is believed to have a release clause in the region of £100m, could allegedly head to Camp Nou as part of a swap deal for Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.

Barca signed Martin Braithwaite on an emergency deal in February after it was confirmed that Ousmane Dembele would be out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.
